With reference to the upcoming repeal here on the Isle of Ireland of the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution Act, 1983 which acknowledges: the right to life of the unborn with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother.
#1 Letter: Where are you the philosophers of Ireland?
On Monday, 30th April 2018 I submitted it to the Sunday Independent – a nationwide newspaper here in Ireland for publication but the editor rejected it.
Where are you the philosophers of Ireland, be you of the artificial kind: cultured in universities at home or abroad or you of the natural kind: cultured here in the fields and along the valleys? Why aren’t you up front and center boldly addressing the moral conscience . . .”
#2 Letter: Liam Neeson: “There’s nothing wrong in not knowing”
On Tuesday, 8th May 2018 I submitted it to the Sunday Independent – a nationwide newspaper here in Ireland for publication but the editor rejected it.
